Nerina Pallot
... an up and rising star she is. recently nominated for the brit awards (though she lost it to amy winehouse), and recently in town to perform for the mosiac music fest (which i missed). oh man, i'm so into her now.
her album 'fires' has so many good tracks! my few favs are: halfway home, idaho, learning to breathe, geek love (which u can hear on me blog now). she wrote all the songs in the album herself, she plays the piano and guitar, n she's pretty! great voice, great range, great melodies. wat more can we ask for?! haha. being called 'the new carole king' and compared to established artistes like tori amos, aimee mann, joni mitchell, tis is one lass tat u gotta check out.
