movie: click
i caught 'click' this weekend. was skeptical coz so far, most of the reviews i've read about this movie were rather bad. but i have to catch it... coz there's the wacky adam sandler, and the oh-so-gorgeous kate bekinsale *slurp*
i walked out of the theatre feeling thankful for catching it... i like the show. other than it made me cry quite a bit close to the end, it kinda tells us some very truth about life. jus my tots ...
we like to complain...
we like to compare...
we like to compete...
we are never satisfied with what we have already
we strive for more
we work harder
to earn more money, more assets, more recognition, pride and status
but remember the sacrifices along the way
are they worth it?
isn't there a way to balance it out a little?
we hope that we'll never need to hear our parents nag
we hope never to have to fight with our partners
we hope never to get shit from our bosses
but actually if one day, none of these happen
would we miss it?
we make mistakes
we become dumbasses once in awhile
we have regrets
but how many of us ever get another try?
be grateful, thankful
appreciate the little things around you
treasure the people in your life
coz we may not get a second chance
